Some good friends of mine just started a band called Still Waves and had me take a ton of shots of them throughout the recording process. A lot of awesome stuff is already happening for them, so keep an eye out :)

We give you our eleventh issue! (September 2013)
Another issue that challenged us to no end, but we have managed to release it with a few days to spare. We love the diversity in this issue, and we hope you do too!
We have the rising UK act Foxes gracing our cover. We interviewed a range of artists like Car Party, Let It Happen, Viv and the Revival and Zealous Co. We have features of up and coming acts such as The Disconnect and White Clouds & Gunfire which we think you’ll love. We have our usual on the radar and album review sections, alongside some great photosets including Kesha.
Please share this with as many people as you can. Any reblogs, RT’s, shares, LIKES, or any other crazy way of showing your appreciation means so much to us. Let us know what you think of this issue!

Car Party - Weekend (single)
Release Date: July 2013
Record Label: N/A
Producer: N/A
Alright, this is my second review of Car Party and just a little bit about them as a refresher: They are a Maryland band that is pop-punk in genre. They got together when their drummer (Taylor) posted an ad on Craigslist. Well, ever since the release of Patterns (October 16, 2012) they have been working hard to put out more music, and right now, we have Weekend.
I have to say… I am far from disappointed! This song is a perfect blend for your (end of) summer mix CD. It’s got a couple cute lyrics (I say cute because I chuckled at how perfect they were) and it’s catchy. It has a wide-audience appeal as far as the sound goes and I love that it’s more mature / slightly more in your face than previous songs.
This easily gets a 5/5 because everyone can relate to the lyrics (they’re adaptable to any situation!), Car Party is stepping up their game and to make an amazing perfect single and release it just as summer is coming to a close… amazing timing!
Honestly, I’m kind of upset that they aren’t as big as they should be. So do yourself a favor and listen!

If you enjoy All Time Low, Forever The Sickest Kids, We Are The In Crowd, Artist Vs. Poet… pretty much anyone in that genre you will be needing a daily Car Party fix!
